What is SUIT?
SUIT, or the Solar Ultraviolet Imaging Telescope is a telescope to observe the Sun in near ultraviolet light. Mounted on India's first space based solar observatory Aditya-L1, SUIT observes the Sun within a wavelength band of 200-400 nm. Due to Aditya's strategic location at the Sun-Earth L1 point, SUIT observes the full disk of the Sun 24x7 making it the first telescope to do so within this wavelength range. Read more about SUIT on their official website.
